Strategy for Climate Change

A comprehensive national climate change response strategy will be developed which will provide a framework for effectively addressing the challenge of climate change. The strategy will address both adaptation and mitigation to climate change and recommend follow measures in terms of policy, legal and institutional framework.

The status of this exercise is that the Ministry through the CCFU in conjunction with UNDP is in the process of identifying the consulting firm to undertake the assignment after advertising and receiving bids.
