National Development Plan responsive to Climate Change   

Ultimately, addressing climate change can only succeed if the development planning process takes it into account and integrates it in the planning process so that all development projects and programmes are climate-proof. The Ministry, through the CCFU, and in conjunction with other stakeholder including the Ministry of Finance and National Planning will promote the integration of climate change issues into our national development plans and programmes. Already, the CCFU is engaged with the process of formulating the Sixth National Development Plan (SNDP)and it is hoped that this will be starting point of mainstreaming climate change into the national development process.
